Providers located at UC Yoga
Lauren Lafaille is a Shiatsu Practitioner and is
giving treatments right here at UC Yoga. Shiatsu is an
ancient eastern form of healing. By using a series of
techniques such as stretching, rotation, and acupressure
shiatsu can help rstore the healing capability that is in
all of us. I focus on how to achieve optimal health for
each individual so you can obtain greater mental,
emotional, and physical well being.

Christine Coward, MSW, LCSW is a trained Life Coach
and founder of Coaching to Fulfillment. She works with
individuals and groups on living fulfilling lives. This
includes helping others achieve work-life balance, reach
clarity about personal goals and dreams, and have more fun
in life. Her niche areas are working with musicians and
people in leadership positions.
Laurie Elder is a Reiki Master Practitioner and
Teacher. Reiki is a Japanese method of healing that
introduces more life force energy into the body,
stimulating the body's ability to heal itself physically,
mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I offer Reiki
sessions and small group/private Reiki classes.
Leilani Fletcher, HHC graduated from the Institute
for Integrative Nutrition and is a certified Holistic
Health and Nutrition Counselor. She offers private
counseling and group workshops, inspiring people to
discover their unique needs to reach optimal health and
happiness. Focusing on the healing power of food, you
will learn how to eat with the seasons, shop and cook
healthy foods, reduce stress and illness, and increase
your knowledge of nutritional supplements and how to
self-heal with natural remedies. Leilani specializes in
women's health and digestive wellness.
Leilani also offers Thai Yoga Massage, incorporating
traditional massage with yoga stretching assists to open our blocked
energy and release tension.
Sophia Hoffer-Perkins, LMT, New York State Licensed
Massage Therapist, NCBTMB Certified After practicing
CranioSacral Therapy for seven years, Sophia followed her
hands to the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, New
York and received her massage license in 2005. She now
practices Integrative Massage, a technique which embraces
CranioSacral, Myofascial release, Neuromuscular Therapy,
Aromatherapy, Shiatsu, Kinesthetic Awareness through
Movement, Energy palpation, Swedish Massage, Hydrotherapy,
and Medical massage. She is also trained in Infancy and
Pre-natal Massage. Integrative Massage is invested in the
belief that the body is a self-healing entity, and
Sophia's practices assist the body to naturally return to
full health through her practice.
Jed McKee, NCTMB I graduated from the Brenneke
School of Massage in Seattle in 1996, and have been
practicing massage in the Philadelphia area since 1998. I
am a Professional member of AMTA (see

and am Nationally Certified.
Dan Myers is a massage therapist, intuitive
energy healer and soon to be a nail technician. Services
provided: Massage- a variety of normal and unusual
techniques, energy sessions, body treatment, waxing,
pedicures/manicures.
Korben Perry, L.Ac. is a graduate of New England school of Acupuncture,
where he received the Peter Faust Compassionate Healer
Award. He loves living and working in Cedar Park (West
Philadelphia) and getting to treat many of his favorite
communities of people.
Brandon Waloff is a Holistic Health Counselor,
A.A.D.P., leading people on personal wellness programs
aimed to produce breakthroughs in peoples lives
integrating Eastern and Western Nutrition and Lifestyle
Coaching. Brandon works with people who have physical
health concerns and emotional eating imbalances. You can
meet Brandon at his free weekly workshops every Wed. night

Joan White started yoga in 1968 and began her
studies with BKS Iyengar in 1973. She started teaching in
1971. She is well known in the Philadelphia area and
throughout the country. She has been running teacher
training programs for 12 years at her own school, The BKS
Iyengar School of Central Philadelphia. She teaches annual
workshops at the Omega Institute for Holistic health and
she has recently begun teaching at the Kirpalu Yoga
Institute as well. She also teaches yoga workshops
nationwide as well as annual teacher training workshops
with Patricia Walden in Cambridge, Ma. and Gloria
Goldberg in La Mesa California. She has often been
written up and quoted in the Yoga Journal and studies
annually in Pune, India with the Iyengar family. She has
received the Best in Philly award 2001, 2003 and 2006.
